Dramatic bodycam footage shows cops in Utah shoot and kill a gun-toting man after he led police on a high-speed chase.
Dino Raul Morales, 28, eluded cops during the chase but was later tracked down and found hiding in the back of a pickup truck inside a garage in a residential neighborhood in Ogden, according to a report by KSTU-TV.
“Show me your hands. Show me your hands,” the cop, who has his gun drawn, yells. “Show me your f—g hands mother f—r.”
“This is my house,” Morales answers. “This is my house, dude.”
“He’s got a gun,” a second cop says.
“Show me your f—g hands,” the first officer yells. “Drop the f—-g gun.”
“Nope,” Morales responds.
Police then fire off at least eight shots.
“Shots fired. Shots fired,” the officer radioes in.
“Show me your hands,” he yells at Morales again after the shooting. “Don’t move. Show me your hands, dude. All you have to do is drop the gun.”
Morales died as a result of the shooting, KSTU reported.
The footage from the Feb. 6 incident was released to the station by the Weber County Sheriff’s Office. Morales was being sought as a suspect in a sexual assault and robbery earlier in the night, the station said.
Cops had been involved in a high-speed car chase with Morales earlier in the night but pulled off over public safety concerns.
